The ISSMA High School Organizational Event is our state assessments for the GHS Crimson Concert, Philharmonic, and Camerata Chamber Orchestras. Our ensembles will perform 3 pieces for three adjudicators providing scores and verbal commentary. For the High School level event there is also a sight-reading aspect of the event taking place immediately after the stage performance.

‍ ‍This event is the fourth of five required concerts for our Orchestra Students Grades 9-12. This is also the only concert we cannot communicate a set date or time for performances before March. When we register for the event in February we are able to help avoid student conflicts by listing individual student conflicts. For this reason our orchestras typically perform between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM on Friday night but the exact dates and times are set by ISSMA.

There is no cost to attend this adjudicated event held at Concord High School but audience members must be very quiet so the judges can do their job as effectively as possible.
